Do I have to wait for my current policy(ies) to expire in order to join the Group Auto & Home Program for Fidelity Employees?
No
, have your current policy(ies) available when you call. You can compare your rates and coverage with those provided by both Liberty Mutual® and MetLife Auto & Home® . If you decide to switch from a competitive plan, be sure to contact your current insurer or agent for terms of a premium refund.

Can I receive insurance quotes from both companies?
Yes. Call any time and receive the quotes from the carrier(s) you choose. The carriers cannot transfer calls; you will need to make a separate call to obtain information about each program.

Can I receive insurance quotes from both companies over the Internet?
Yes. Both insurance carriers offer you the ability to receive a quote via the Internet. Each carrier can be reached through the following link here.

Can I cancel my existing policy at any time?
Yes. You can cancel your policy(ies) at any time. Before you cancel, please make sure that you have adequate coverage to replace your existing policy(ies). Also, check with your providers about any refunds or cancellation penalties.

When shopping for a new car or new home, can I request quotes to determine the insurance costs before my purchase?
Yes. The insurance consultants will provide as many quotes as you need to determine the total cost of ownership of your potential new car or home.
Premium payment options

What are my premium payment options?
You may pay your premium through payroll deduction or EFT (electronic funds transfer), or have it directly billed to you.
Change in employment status

If I leave Fidelity, what happens to my coverage?
If you terminate/resign your employment, you can continue your coverage with both carriers; however, some discounts may be removed upon the renewal of your policy. Please contact your carrier to discuss further.
Coverage

Must I buy both my auto and home policy(ies) from the same carrier?
No, you can buy your auto coverage with one carrier and your home coverage with another. However, both carriers offer multi-policy discounts. Please inquire about these discounts when you call to compare.
Claims
9.
If I have a claim, what do I do?
The carrier with whom you have coverage will provide you with their toll-free claims service number to call in the event of a claim. Both carriers have 24 hour, 7 days a week claims service.
